Pippa and Chris’s wedding was special for many reasons. Not least because Pippa’s cousin, Nix had also booked me to photograph her wedding so this made me feel especially connected to a lovely family and their friends. Which is I think is pretty special.

The day started at Pippas Mum and Dad’s house in Apppledore where Pippa was getting ready. Pippa’s beautiful wedding gown was si9nple but gorgeous – There was so much fun and laughter, huge amounts of fabulous style and a roomful of happiness as friends and family prepared for the day ahead..

I popped down the road to meet with Chris and his attendants at the local hostelry ( The Seagate) where they were enjoying a relaxing drink ( or two!)

I rejoined Pippa and her escorts as we walked through the village to the local church – many well-wishers filled the streets to give their blessings and best wishes.

The ceremony at St Marys church Appledore was a joyous occasion, and after a drink and food for the wedding party and locals from the village, we headed back to the house where Pippa grew up for the reception. The garden had been transformed into a pretty magical wedding reception space, and once the guests arrived the sun came out and bathed everyone in the lovely warm early evening Summers light.

With live music in the garden the wedding party enjoyed a wonderful evening together under the moonlight.

Thank you Pippa and Chris for letting me play a part in your day and I hope you’ll enjoy a lifetime of adventures together!

Ps I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon – I will have edited your photographs for you to view upon your return.
