Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions of making a booking photography with Grant Stringer Photographer

The Photographer and Client agree that unless stated otherwise in this document, The Photographer owns any and all copy or reproduction rights. Client agrees to not reproduce or copy any proof or other photographs of the event, taken by the Photographer, without the Photographer’s written permission. Any unauthorised reproduction of proofs or failure to return proofs to The Photographer (if applicable), constitutes a breach of this agreement and will subject Client(s) to any and all applicable civil penalties.

A deposit of 10 % will be required to make any booking – this deposit is non-refundable

Full payment is required before or on your wedding day : please note the editing of your photographs will only begin when full payment has been received and funds have cleared – sorry but in the past I had a client who tried to take advantage of my good nature ,  so as editing takes so long, I never start to edit or release any photographs or files until  payment has been received in full

If Photographer has to cancel for reasons beyond their control (death, injury, sickness etc.) their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.

Model release

The clients agree that it is their responsibility to obtain model release from their guests to allow their images to be used in any format by the photographer e.g.  printed, website or advertising etc.

The photographer agrees that every effort will be made to provide high quality photographic services. In the unlikely event that a catastrophic mechanical failure should occur to Photographer’s equipment or transport and Photographer is unable to provide Client with the agreed upon photography services and/or products, Photographer’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.

The Photographer and Client agree that Photographer is not responsible for any damages, emotional or otherwise.  Client(s) agree that Photographer may use any photograph for publicity purposes. Such publicity and advertising may include publication on Photographer’s website.

Other persons may take photographs at the wedding and reception, however all “formal” or other shots set up by Photographer are for The Photographer to photograph exclusively. It is the Client’s responsibility to inform all guests of said policy. This is to ensure the photographs are of a consistently high standard. Photographer cannot be responsible for unusable shots due to distractions from Client’s guests (i.e. eyes being closed) and other circumstances beyond the Photographers control.

By making a booking you agree to abide with these terms and conditions and that they are legally binding
